LAS VEGAS -
UNLV's Brett Kanda won the 108th SCGA (Southern California Golf Association) Amateur Championship on Sunday, July 1 at the Victoria Golf Club in Riverside, Calif. Kanda, a redshirt sophomore, shot an even-par 71 to win the tournament by three shots over UC Irvine's Brian Edick.
