	Rebels Look To Extend Win Streak The UNLV men's soccer team will return to action this weekend at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Tournament. The Rebels started off the season by going undefeated in the UNLV Rebel Classic last weekend, and have hopes of coming out on top at this weekend's tournament as well. UNLV will first face the home team, Cal State Fullerton on Friday night at 4:30 pm, followed by a game Sunday against Cal State Northridge at 4:30 pm. [ + ]

Cruz Named MPSF Player Of The Week
UNLV sophomore forward Daniel Cruz picked up the first weekly honor of his career, as he was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Brine Player of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday. [ + ]

Rebels Off To Best Start In Six Years
UNLV scored two first half goals and then held off a late rally to earn a 2-1 victory over Radford in men's collegiate soccer action on Monday afternoon from Peter Johann Memorial Field. The victory, which came in the final game of the UNLV Rebel Classic, gave the Rebels their first 2-0 start to a season since 2002, while the Highlanders dropped to 0-2 on the year. In the day's other game, Western Illinois topped Jacksonville 3-1. [ + ]

Cruz, Rebels Shut Out Dolphins 2-0
UNLV sophomore forward Daniel Cruz scored two goals on the night to carry the Rebels to a 2-0 shutout victory over Jacksonville in the men's soccer season opener for both teams on Saturday night from Peter Johann Memorial Field. The game was the second of the day in the UNLV Rebel Classic, in the first game Western Illinois posted a 2-0 win over Radford. [ + ]

Rebels Open Season Saturday In Rebel Classic
The UNLV men's soccer team will open the 2008 season on Saturday when it hosts the UNLV Rebel Classic. Jacksonville will be the first opponent of the season on Saturday night at 7 pm, while a Monday afternoon contest follows at 1 pm against the Radford Highlanders. [ + ]

Rebels Picked Third In MPSF Poll
UNLV was picked to finish third in the 2008 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation preseason men's soccer coaches' poll, which was released on Wednesday. [ + ]

Season Tickets On Sale Now
Season tickets are now on sale for the UNLV men's and women's soccer teams for the 2008 season. The Rebel women are four-time defending Mountain West Conference championships, while the men's team have their sights set on their first-ever Mountain Pacific Sports Federation title. [ + ]
