Workman Leaves Swimming Program

LAS VEGAS - UNLV swimming assistant coach Aaron Workman has left the Rebel program to become the head assistant and men's recruiting coordinator with the University of Pittsburgh swimming program.

Workman, who had spent two years with the Rebels, was head coach at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va., from 2002-03. Following that season, he joined the staff at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.

During his two years on staff at UNLV, the men's team won two Mountain West Conference Tournament and one regular season title.

A national search will be conducted by UNLV to fill the vacancy.
